Nickel-molybdenum-chromium-tungsten alloy. One of the most corrosion-resistant alloys in oxidising and reducing acids, chlorides and wet chlorine; resistant to pitting, crevice and stress corrosion cracking.

01Material Properties

  • Resistance across a very wide range of chemical media
  • Pitting, crevice and SCC resistance
  • Resistant to intergranular corrosion after welding (low C, Si)
  • Not hardenable by heat treatment
  • Good formability and weldability

02Applications

  • Chemical process reactors and agitators
  • Flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) systems
  • Pulp bleaching equipment
  • Waste incineration plants
  • Pharmaceutical and chlor-alkali equipment

03Delivery Condition

  • Solution annealed; plate, sheet, bar, tube, welding consumables.
